Job summary

Strike Force Services is seeking an experienced HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician to install, service and repair equipment across client sites. You will work on a variety of HVAC, air-conditioning and refrigeration projects with a dedicated team.

The role requires a Refrigerant Handling Licence and a Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration, plus proven experience. A White Card and manual Driver Licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• A current Refrigerant Handling Licence is essential.
• Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration is essential.
• Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration.
• White Card is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Diagnosing faults and repairs.
• Routine preventative maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Refurbishments, upgrades and renovation projects.
• Cool room construction and installation.
• Supply and installation of ice makers and refrigeration equipment.
• Work with clients and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Ensure all work is safe, professional and high standard.

About the Role

As a HVAC / Air-Conditioning Technician, you'll be responsible for a variety of installation, servicing, maintenance and repair work across our client sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and commissioning of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and servicing.
• Routine preventative maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Refurbishments, upgrades and renovation projects.
• Cool room construction and installation.
• Supply and installation of ice makers and refrigeration equipment.
• Working closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a qualified and experienced technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety and is committed to providing great service to our customers.

You'll need:

• A current Refrigerant Handling Licence - essential
• A Trade Certificate in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration - essential
• Proven experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration
• Working Safely at Heights certification or willing to obtain
• A current White Card or willing to obtain
• A current Driver Licence — manual licence preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• MDG25 and EWP certification is desirable but not essential.
• Two work-related references.
• The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
