Job summary

Johnson Controls in New South Wales invites an experienced HVAC Technician to service commercial HVAC systems across local sites. You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and install/commission equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role offers a fully maintained company vehicle and opportunities for ongoing training within a global organisation. Eligible applicants will hold Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Refrigerant Handling

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration required.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
• NSW Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain) required.
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills essential.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Current driver's licence essential.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise system performance and reliability.
• Install and commission HVAC equipment and components when required.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of technicians and industry experts.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance standards.

What We're Looking For

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• NSW Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain where required)
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Current driver's licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
