Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to service commercial HVAC systems across Northern NSW, including Tweed Heads and Byron Bay regions. You will inspect, diagnose and maintain equipment with a focus on safety and reliability, supported by a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration required or equivalent.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
• NSW Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
• Experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise performance and reliability.
• Install and commission HVAC equipment and components when required.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service delivery.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of technicians and industry experts.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Current driver’s licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
