Job summary

Aerotherm is seeking a senior HVAC technician to lead a small team across commercial sites in Greater Sydney. You will bridge the gap between on-site crews, clients, and management, with a clear pathway from Team Leader to Service Manager supported by mentoring and funded frontline management training.

The role prioritizes leadership, client engagement, and hands-on oversight of installations, servicing, and commissioning, with a competitive package negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading HVAC technicians in commercial environments.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems (split, ducted, VRV/VRF, chillers).

About the role

This is a senior trade position for an experienced HVAC technician who's ready to take the next step. You'll lead a small team of technicians across commercial sites throughout Greater Sydney, acting as the key link between your crew, our clients, and management. This isn't just a title change — there is a clear pathway from Team Leader through to Service Supervisor and ultimately Service Manager, backed by structured mentoring and funded Frontline Management training.

Key responsibilities

Leading and mentoring a team of HVAC technicians day-to-day

Building and maintaining strong client relationships on-site

Overseeing installations, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning

Assisting with toolbox talks and pre-start safety briefings

About you

Valid NSW Driver Licence (Class C)

Proven experience in commercial HVAC — split systems, ducted, VRV/VRF, chillers

Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example

Competitive Package — negotiable based on experience
