Job summary

ARA Mechanical is seeking a Site Manager to coordinate HVAC installation projects on-site in Sydney. You will oversee on-site personnel, subcontractors and material management to ensure safe, high-quality and timely project delivery.

The role demands strong leadership, HVAC technical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and codes. You will drive safety practices, monitor schedules and lead a skilled on-site team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC Site Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and installation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret standards, schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and ensure smooth project workflow.
• Coordinate and supervise HVAC installers, subcontractors and other on-site personnel.
• Ensure work meets project specifications, drawings and building codes.
• Manage material deliveries and on-site storage.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Enforce safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor project schedules and report progress to Project Manager.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet quality standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel.
