New Venture Recruitment is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to lead hyperscale data centre packages in Western Sydney. You will coordinate site delivery, engineering, drafting and project administration with a strong delivery team.

You will own the major mechanical packages, manage mobilisation through handover, and align with Tier I clients. Data centre experience preferred; commercial HVAC background acceptable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager.
• Proven track record delivering commercial mechanical projects valued at $10M+.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of major HVAC packages.
• Manage projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work closely with engineering and drafting teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationships with Tier I builders, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate activities across multiple disciplines.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and performance.
• Identify and manage project risks, variations and commercial opportunities.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, programme and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to the wider project delivery team.

HVAC Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres
Western Sydney | Tier I Mechanical Contractor | $150k–$180k + Super + Vehicle

With a strong pipeline of major projects currently underway and more in the pipeline, this is an opportunity to take ownership of significant mechanical packages while working within a highly experienced and well-supported project delivery structure.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of major HVAC packages on hyperscale data centre projects, working closely with an experienced team across site delivery, engineering, drafting and project administration. Importantly, you won't be expected to do it alone. You'll have a strong site-based delivery team supporting you, together with dedicated engineering, drafting and project administration resources.

This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to step up into larger, more complex projects and significantly accelerate their career within one of the country's leading mechanical groups.

About You

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager
• A proven track record delivering commercial mechanical projects valued at $10M+
• Experience working for a mechanical contractor in a project delivery environment
• Strong understanding of HVAC construction, coordination and installation
• Experience working with Tier I builders and major project stakeholders
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage complex projects while leading a broader delivery team
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery

Experience delivering Data Centre projects is highly regarded, however, candidates with a strong track record delivering large-scale commercial HVAC projects are encouraged to apply.
