New Edge Group in Sydney offers a Mechanical Engineering Internship – HVAC designed to fit around university commitments. You will gain hands-on experience across tendering, design, construction, commissioning, and service stages of HVAC projects as part of a structured two-year training program.

You will work with senior engineers, receive weekly technical training, and explore career paths toward HVAC Design Engineer or Project Engineer, with longer-term progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering students seeking practical HVAC experience.
• Interest in gaining hands-on exposure across HVAC project stages.
• Willingness to learn across tendering, design, construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist tendering, estimating and supplier Quotations.
• Support HVAC design and CAMEL calculations and equipment selection.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Assist in service and maintenance planning and long-term performance reviews.
