Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an established building services consultancy in Sydney. You will lead mechanical services design across residential and mixed-use developments, with drafting support available and independent design ownership from day one.

The initial engagement is 3 months with strong potential to extend to 6 or 12 months, depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in mechanical building services design.
• Experience leading design delivery with drafting support.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design across residential and mixed-use projects.
• Perform mechanical calculations, equipment sizing and selection.
• Manage detailed design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate and review work from drafting/modelling teams.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and stakeholders.
