Carrier Australia is seeking a motivated Air Conditioning Apprentice to learn from experienced HVAC technicians while combining on-the-job training with formal TAFE studies. You will gain exposure to installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems, with hands-on practice and documentation across customer sites.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional customer service as you travel to sites and complete your apprenticeship training.

Qualifications

• Interest in a career in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Hands-on with tools and equipment; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation, servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Learn fault-finding and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Support installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Learn to use hand and power tools safely and maintain records.
• Follow Carrier’s safety, health, environment and quality standards.
• Attend TAFE and complete apprenticeship training and assessments.
• Develop technical knowledge through hands-on experience.
• Work professionally with customers and colleagues across sites.
