Job summary

Zinfra PTY Ltd. in Bendigo, Victoria, seeks an experienced Access Coordinator (HV Switching Operator) to manage network access, outages, and related paperwork for safe field operations from the Bendigo depot.

You will prepare switching instructions, coordinate with network authority, and provide guidance on risk and safety. Travel between Benalla, Moorabool and nearby regions may be required; a trade qualification and valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Cert III in Power or Electrotechnology) required.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• VESI accreditation and current ESI Worker card.
• In-depth knowledge of Victorian Electrical Distribution, Transmission and Sub Transmission Networks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel between regions as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage network outage applications and switching instructions.
• Operate on transmission and sub-transmission apparatus.
• Identify opportunities for cost-effective improvements.
• Ensure quality control measures and provide support to team members.
• Visit sites to assess delivery methods and mitigations.
• Manage customer expectations and maintain clear communication.
• Travel between Benalla, Moorabool and surrounding areas as required.
