Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking an HV Site Engineer to lead the on-site delivery of high voltage infrastructure across our data centre projects. You will work closely with the Technology, Development, Construction, Commissioning and Operations teams to ensure safe, compliant and timely execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HV construction or site engineering, strong HV equipment knowledge, and experience with Australian standards, SSOW and contractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in HV construction, site engineering or project delivery.
• Strong practical knowledge of HV equipment and installations.
• Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and HV safe systems of work.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Experience supervising contractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
• Competency with document-control tools; familiarity with CAD/ETAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and effective on-site delivery of HV infrastructure across AirTrunk projects.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, network service providers and internal teams through construction, testing, energisation and handover.
• Provide practical site-based engineering solutions focusing on safety, reliability and operational continuity.
• Review drawings, method statements and test plans before site execution.
• Supervise principal contractors and suppliers to achieve safe, high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
