Job summary

Inverse Group is seeking a Senior HV Commissioning Engineer to lead the delivery of high-voltage electrical infrastructure across Australia's data centres and critical-power facilities. You will oversee HV/LV commissioning, switchgear, transformers, protection relays, IST, and safety procedures, aligning with Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HV commissioning within critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, switchgear and transformers.
• Experience with protection relay testing and IST methodologies.
• Understanding of electrical safety, switching procedures, isolations and energisation in HV environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV/LV commissioning across data centre and critical-power projects.
• Test, inspect and verify electrical equipment per specifications.
• Develop commissioning procedures, test plans and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements.
