Job summary

Ashdown People is seeking experienced HR Business Partners to join a talent pool for upcoming NSW Government contract opportunities in Sydney. The roles will partner with business leaders to deliver people and culture outcomes across a diverse portfolio.

These Grade 7/8 opportunities offer hybrid work (3 days on site at Martin Place, Sydney CBD), 40 hours per week, and contracts through to March 2027. NSW Government experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as HR Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Strong employee relations and case management experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Previous NSW Government HR experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate HR advice to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and workplace issues.
• Support workforce planning, talent management and recruitment activities.
• Assist with organisational change and workforce initiatives.
• Interpret HR policies, procedures, awards and relevant legislation.

The Opportunity

• Talent Pool for upcoming Grade 7/8 opportunities
• Contracts expected through to March 2027
• Sydney CBD location (Martin Place)
• Hybrid working arrangement (3 days on site)
• 40 hours per week
