Job summary

Platinum Pacific Partners is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to lead the Sydney office’s HR operations within a global investment business. The role focuses on operational excellence, data and systems, and delivering a high-quality employee experience across the full lifecycle.

You'll work with the local leadership team and colleagues across Asia and globally, owning HR operations for Australia while contributing to regional and global initiatives, and driving process

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Generalist roles.
  • Strong payroll coordination and reconciliation experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Australian employee lifecycle and employment practices.
  • Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, transfers, employee changes and offboarding.
  • Coordinating payroll inputs, reconciliations and quality assurance.
  • Maintaining accurate HR data and records across Workday and other HR systems.
  • Supporting Australian employment compliance and HR governance.
  • Managing visa, relocation and international mobility processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and improve HR processes.
  • Supporting global HR projects, systems enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Operations professional to join a highly successful global investment business in its Sydney office.

This is a broad and hands-on role for an HR professional who enjoys operational excellence, working with data and systems, and delivering a high-quality employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

Working closely with the local leadership team and colleagues across Asia and globally, you will take ownership of HR operations for the Sydney office while contributing to broader regional and global initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating payroll inputs, reconciliations and quality assurance
