Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin is seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR team with administration and process functions. You will provide accurate HR guidance to internal clients, maintain documentation, and coordinate apprenticeship and trainee programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in human resources management or currently pursuing.
• Background in the hospitality industry is an asset.
• Certificate 4 Workplace Assessment and Training preferred.
• Experience with data base management and handling confidential information.
• Knowledge of HR legislation and contractual frameworks (Awards, EBA’s, AWA’s).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate advice to internal clients on HR-related issues while ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies.
• Conduct investigations and disciplinary meetings in cases of discrimination, harassment, or other misconduct.
• Review, update, and maintain HR documentation (position descriptions, handbooks, manager toolkits).
• Coordinate and manage administration of Apprentice and Trainee requirements, including probationary and annual appraisals.
• Oversee and administer training and development programs, ensuring LMS compliance and course updates.

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative and process functions of the HR department in an accurate, effective manner.

What will you do?

• Provide accurate advice to internal clients on HR-related issues while ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
• Conduct thorough investigations and disciplinary meetings in cases of discrimination, harassment, or other misconduct
• Review, update, and maintain all HR documentation, including position descriptions, employee handbooks, and manager toolkits
• Coordinate and manage the administration of Apprentice and Trainee requirements, including probationary and annual appraisals
• Oversee and administer training and development programs, ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining LMS, and updating courses as needed

More About You

• Degree in human resources management or currently pursuing
• Background in the hospitality industry and Certificate 4 Workplace Assessment and Training preferred
• Previous experience in data base management, handling confidential information, and dealing with difficult workplace situations
• Understanding of various industrial tools such as Awards, EBA’s, AWA’s, and legal contracts
• Up to date knowledge and experience understanding HR Legislation
