Job summary

Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, NT is seeking a casual Security Officer to monitor casino and hotel areas, ensuring guest safety and providing excellent guest service.

You will prepare incident reports, adhere to laws, deter unauthorised entry, and provide First Aid as needed. Applicants must hold NT Security Licence, First Aid/CPR, RSA and RSG, with at least two years of security experience and availability across a 7-day roster.

Qualifications

• Must hold Security License / NT Government license.
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR, RSA, and RSG.
• NT Casino Operative’s License or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a security officer.
• Able to work across a 7-day roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports regarding security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Complete tasks in line with Federal and Territory legislation.
• Report and prevent entry of unauthorised guests.
• Provide First Aid assistance when required.

What will you do?

• Preparing reports regarding security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Completing all tasks in line with Federal and Territory legislation
• Reporting and preventing the entry of any unauthorised guests
• When required, providing First Aid assistance

More about you

• Security License / Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government
• Certificates in First Aid and CPR, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and Responsible Service of Gambling
• NT Casino Operative’s License or willing to obtain
• Minimum 2 years experience working as a security officer
• Able to work across a 7-day roster including nightshift, weekends and public holidays
