The NSW ICAC in Sydney is seeking an experienced HR professional to deliver high-quality HR advice and end-to-end services in a 12-month, full-time temporary role. You will partner with stakeholders and support the employee lifecycle, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The purpose of this role is todeliver high-quality HR advice and end-to-end services using a business partnering approach. The role works closely with stakeholders to understand workforce needs, support decision-making, and deliver practical HR solutions aligned to organisational priorities.

The position focuses on delivery across the employee lifecycle, including continuous improvement, project delivery, and policy development and implementation. It operates as a key contributor within a customer-focused HR team, supporting the Principal Human Resources and Manager Human Resources and Security.

This is a temporary 12 month, full-timeposition. Current NSW Government employees interested in a secondment opportunity are encouraged to apply.

The annual salary is $139,249 to $154,889, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading (currently 17.5%)

Candidates will be assessed against the following requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in operational and strategic human resources.
• Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end HR advisory services across multiple disciplines.
• Experience in policy development, implementation and adoption strategies.
• Proven capability to deliver projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong experience managing complex and sensitive people matters, including case management and coaching leaders.
• Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
