Job summary

Glencore is seeking a proactive Human Resources Advisor based in Mount Isa, Queensland. You will work with the HR Operations team, partnering with leaders to deliver high-quality HR support in a dynamic mining environment.

Your role will involve providing expert advice across the employee lifecycle, influencing workforce strategy, and supporting organisational growth in a residential, 5/2 4/3 roster context. Relocation assistance is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ HR experience, ideally within resources/heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Confidence acting as a trusted HR resource at all levels.

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, proactive, and outcomes focused Human Resources Advisor to join the HR Operations team at Queensland Metals. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role offers the chance to work closely with operational leaders and employees, delivering high quality HR support while contributing to broader organisational objectives in a complex, operational environment. This role is residentially based in Mount Isa, working a 5/2 4/3 roster. For those candidates located outside of Mount Isa, relocation support is available for this position to enable you and your family to live and work in Mount Isa.

About you – skills and experience

You will bring:
