Job summary

Fitzroy Mining Operations seeks a Health, Safety and Training Coordinator to support the implementation and maintenance of health and safety systems across all operations. The role focuses on documentation management, injury coordination, safety action tracking, and active participation in investigations and risk assessments.

This is a newly created, on-site role at our New Burton site with a full-time employment package including company funded health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety roles within heavy industry or mining.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation processes.
• Proficient in safety reporting, records management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation and records for HST activities.
• Coordinate injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Monitor safety actions and ensure compliance with policies.
• Support investigations and risk assessments across operations.
• Prepare safety reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
