St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral is seeking an enthusiastic HSIE teacher to deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in a Catholic environment. The role focuses on HSIE including Senior History (Modern/Ancient) and may involve Religious Education responsibilities.

The successful candidate will contribute to academic excellence, use diverse pedagogical approaches, and engage with parents and staff to support student learning in a growing Sydney region.

As a HSIE Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• experience, qualifications and a willingness to teach HSIE including Senior History (Modern / Ancient)
• experience, qualification and a willingness to teach Religious Education desirable
• a commitment to academic excellence
• exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of contemporary, evidence based pedagogical approaches that support effective learning and academic rigour
• ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing effective feedback
• an ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectations through positive support of student learning
• a commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning
• ability to facilitate staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge

• excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
