St Leo's Catholic College invites applications for a skilled HSIE Teacher with a focus on Business Studies. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027, at Wahroonga.

The successful candidate will contribute to student learning through engaging lessons and strong assessment practices within a supportive Catholic school community. Applicants should hold a four-year teaching qualification and demonstrate effective pedagogy, with optional expertise in Legal Studies or Economics.

St Leo's Catholic College, Wahroonga is currently seeking a skilled HSIE Teacher with particular experience teaching Business Studies. This is a permanent full-time opportunity commencing Term 1, 2027.

Specific Criteria

• Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
• Ability to teach Business Studies a requirement. The ability to teach Legal Studies and/or Economics is highly desirable
• Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
• Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
• Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
• Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
• Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
• Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
