Job summary

SRG Global is seeking a Corporate HSET Advisor based in Subiaco, WA, to lead and support health, safety, environment, and training initiatives across SRG Global operations. You will provide expert guidance, develop and roll out HSE management system improvements, training, reports and risk controls while traveling to project sites as required.

The role requires Certificate IV in WHS, ICAM/TapRoot qualification, and solid experience in high-risk environments, with strong communication skills and

Qualifications

• Previous HSET operational experience and willingness to progress within a corporate support position.
• Certificate IV in WHS (minimum).
• Formal incident investigation qualification (ICAM/TapRoot) (minimum).
• Experience in high-risk environments.
• Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships across all levels of the business to influence safety culture.
• Assist with development of key safety activities at operational level.
• Prepare reports, alerts and safety documentation at operational level.
• Implement and maintain HSE system requirements including induction and training, risk identification and control, incident reporting and analysis.
• Review event reports and help determine causes and actions to prevent recurrences.
• Maintain and review risk registers for all locations.
• Advise operational personnel on HSE regulations and compliance.
• Assist with workplace and site inspections.
• Conduct fitness for work testing and ergonomic assessments as required.
• Provide guidance for team-based risk assessments.
• Communicate HSE notifications via toolbox talks, safety committees and memorandums.
• Coordinate HSE Committee activities and assist audits.
