Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager in Australia to own and enhance the company’s health, safety, environmental, and quality systems. You will drive a proactive safety culture, maintain ISO accreditations, and work with site teams and senior management.

The role involves policy development, compliance oversight, incident investigations, training delivery, audits, and tender support. A strong background in commercial construction HSEQ is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background as an HSEQ Coordinator or Manager within Australian commercial construction, fit-out, or remediation sectors.
• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining accredited ISO management systems (Safety, Quality, and Environment).
• Excellent communication, data presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, and continuously improve HSEQ policies to align with ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and manage safety equipment stock.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver HSEQ training, lead toolbox talks, and promote a safety culture across teams.
• Manage internal audits and participate in client inspections to uphold ISO accreditations.
• Support tenders with HSEQ data and provide strategic insights to senior management.
