Job summary

Amida Limited in Sydney is seeking an experienced HSEQ Lead/Manager to join a well‑established national contractor. You will oversee multiple concurrent projects, drive risk management, audits, and continuous improvement across NSW sites, reporting to the National/Regional HSEQ Manager.

Candidates from Health & Safety Advisor or HSEQ Manager backgrounds with Defence/Industrial/Marine exposure are welcome; travel to regional NSW sites required, Australian citizenship for Defence projects.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in construction health and safety.
• Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Willingness to travel to regional NSW sites.
• Australian citizenship is required for Defence project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of HSE Advisors.
• Direct critical risk management, verification and operational assurance.
• Lead audit programs, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with Project Managers and leadership on HSEQ matters.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality and environmental performance.
