Job summary

Transit Systems NSW is seeking a motivated HSEQ Graduate to support safety, environmental and quality initiatives across NSW bus depots. You will work closely with the HSEQ Manager, Safety Advisors and operations teams to assist with compliance, incident investigations, audits and training support.

You will gain practical experience in a fast-paced transport environment, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and help strengthen the safety culture across our public transport network.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
• Support depot audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Help maintain safety and accreditation requirements (BOAS)
• Contribute to driver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety programs
• Collect and analyse HSEQ data for reporting
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives
• Provide general admin and document control support
