Job summary

ETS Infrastructure Management in Narangba, QLD is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Advisor to support Operations across South East Queensland. The role involves regular travel to depots, onsite leadership of HSEQ initiatives and guiding teams to enhance safety culture.

The successful candidate will hold Cert IV or equivalent in HSEQ, have at least 2 years in a similar role, and hold a current Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Cert IV, OHS or tertiary qualifications in a HSEQ or related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HSEQ role in a similar industry & risk profile.
• Vegetation, utilities and/or construction experience highly desirable.
• Strong communicator with stakeholder engagement and investigation skills (ICAM training a plus).
• Self-motivated team player, able to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSEQ operational support.
• Foster a strong safety culture and mentor field crews through onsite presence and guidance.
• Lead, influence and coach teams to continually improve HSEQ behaviours and performance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct incident investigations, field audits, inductions, training and other HSEQ activities.
• Support risk management, toolbox talks, HSEQ committees and communication initiatives.
