Job summary

MACA is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the team on the Dingo Range Gold Project, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. This role supports the Project Manager and team in health, safety and environment matters across site operations.

Required are a Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, and 3+ years’ mining site experience, plus a current National Police Clearance. ICAM Lead Investigator (desirable) and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Experience delivering safety initiatives and programme management.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety and environment concepts and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
• Coordinate site-based health, safety and environment activities to ensure competence and wellbeing of people and safety of equipment.
• Ensure personnel and subcontractor staff are instructed on safety procedures and systems and that these are followed.
• Facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training with high-quality results.
• Develop and conduct monthly toolbox talks.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and generate data-driven safety reports.
