Job summary

Guma-Warnii Pty is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the West Angelas project on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off FIFO roster. Start ASAP and WA-based for a major Rio Tinto enabling works project in the Pilbara.

You will promote and maintain a strong health, safety, environment and quality culture across the project, working with leadership, workforce, client, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver safely and in accordance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, ideally in mining or civil construction on mine sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Project).
• MYOSH Incident Reporting experience (advantageous).
• White Card.
• Ability to start mid October
• Recent RTIO site experience and up-to-date inductions in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continually review the Project HSEQ Management Plan.
• Monitor and refine HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and client standards.
• Engage with management and workers to promote a strong safety culture and identify and manage risks effectively.
• Provide advice, support, and assistance for assessments, inspections, and compliance monitoring.
• Actively promote health, safety, and well-being initiatives.
• Perform other HSE-related tasks as required onsite.
