Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a dedicated WHS professional to oversee Safety, Training and Quality across national operations. You will travel within Adelaide and to remote projects, delivering audits, training and incident investigations while promoting a Zero Harm culture.

The role reports to the National Safety, Training & Quality Manager and works with senior management to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, ISO standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• WHS qualification (minimum Cert IV) or equivalent.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessing (TAE116 or above) is highly desirable.
• Lead Auditor qualification is highly desirable.
• Confident with safety and training legislation and ISO requirements.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with legislated safety and training requirements, and company and client safety and training standards.
• Actively promoting a Zero Harm environment in line with company vision & core values.
• Coordinate safety programs to fulfill contractual obligations.
• Maintain relevant safety registers, including the project training matrix.
• Conduct inspections & audits ensuring compliance to both company and client systems.
• Facilitate training and inductions, both paper based and online.
• Coordination and delivery of toolbox and pre-start meetings as required.
• Accident/Incident Investigation & Reporting.
• Review & development of risk assessments.
• Review and development of site-specific safe operating procedures.
• Providing regular WHS statistical reports to the management teams.
• Providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.
• Ensure Records are maintained and compliant in line with WHS legislation.

Job description

Reporting to the National Safety, Training & Quality Manager and Senior Management, this role is based in Adelaide supporting our national operations.

The successful candidate will have to travel to different locations within Adelaide and to remote projects as required, both for scheduled travel and on an ADHOC basis where required.

• Experience in the construction, civil and/or mining industries.
