Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an HSE Systems Coordinator to support development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our HSE management systems. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you will help integrate a newly acquired business and deliver data-driven insights for safer workplaces.

The role reports to the HSEQ Manager and involves system administration, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with safety professionals and external providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a WHS, compliance, systems coordination, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of WHS legislation, management systems, and audit processes.
• Experience supporting accredited management systems will be highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve WHS management systems, ensuring reliability, usability, and compliance.
• Manage system access, user permissions, data integrity, and security across safety platforms.
• Produce compliance reports, audit documentation, safety dashboards, and performance insights.
• Support incident reporting, ISO management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Maintain safety documentation, policies, procedures, and document control processes.
• Provide system support and guidance to users across the business.
• Partner with operational leaders and external providers to enhance safety systems and reporting capability.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve safety performance and strengthen safety culture.
