Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Turnaround Manager to lead HSE, governance and delivery across client sites in Australia. You will manage maintenance, turnaround, and minor modification projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance against contractual requirements.

The role requires extensive supervisory experience in oil & gas maintenance, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to coordinate across dispersed sites while aligning with Wood processes and client

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or equivalent with relevant and considerable experience in the industrial sector.
• Minimum 10 years of direct supervisory experience in maintenance and minor modification contract management in an oil and gas environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills to organise and lead a project team and provide status reports to senior management.
• Self-motivated with clear communication with client and contractors at all levels.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE leadership to Wood team and align with client expectations.
• Foster client relationships across multiple stakeholder groups and locations.
• Manage multi-discipline Wood maintenance personnel across client sites and ensure Wood processes and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Manage a portfolio of Maintenance, Turnaround and Minor Modifications over a wide geographic area.
• Oversee contract administration: KPI monitoring, risk registers, governance, plans and reporting.
• Governance and stewardship of all services delivered by Wood with proactive stakeholder communication.
• Support regional Maintenance Supervisors in work execution planning.
• Promote Wood values and ensure work aligns with contract plans and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements of all products and services.
• Support site HR/IR management and EA negotiations.
• Manage resourcing through internal Wood services including recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure personnel are suitably qualified and aware of their responsibilities.
• Ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
• Recognise and reward exceptional performance and encourage innovative solutions.
