Job summary

Wood is seeking a HSE Advisor on a contract basis for the Sale or Longford site in Australia. You will manage HSE requirements on site and be willing to travel to Long Island Point and offshore facilities.

Reporting to the Manager HSSE&S, you will deliver HSE systems, support incident reporting and investigations, and focus on hazard identification and risk management across assignments.

The role offers flexible arrangements and ongoing professional development within Wood's safety culture.

Qualifications

• Site-based HSE experience is highly desirable.
• Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Ability to influence and implement HSE policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective HSE advice and support to the assignment.
• Educate operations and contractors on hazard awareness and high-risk activities.
• Implement and monitor HSE policies, incident reporting and investigations.
• Record and report HSE performance metrics including leading and lagging indicators.
• Drive continuous improvement of HSE performance as directed.
