Job summary

DDH1 Drilling is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team in either Queensland or Perth. You will support health, safety and environment initiatives, ensuring our HSE framework is effectively managed and continuously improved.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will lead incident investigations, audits and risk management, while collaborating with operations to optimise HSE performance and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Work Health and Safety/HSE.
• Experience as HSE Advisor, HSE Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in drilling, mining or high-risk environments.
• Working knowledge of WHS legislation and HSE systems.
• ICAM experience or training highly regarded.
• Experience with HSE auditing, inspections and assurance.
• Strong MS Office and HSE information system skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to build relationships with leaders and field personnel.
• Willingness to travel to operational sites.

Responsibilities

• HSE Framework: assist in developing and maintaining HSE documentation and tools.
• Auditing & Assurance: coordinate audits, inspections and evidence.
• Critical Risk Management: support risk control confirmation and gaps resolution.
• HSE Systems & Reporting: provide platform support and monthly data/reporting.
• Operational HSE Support: provide technical support to HSE Advisors and site visits.
