Job summary

DDH1 Drilling is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team based in Canning Vale, WA, with ad-hoc site travel. Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will provide technical, systems and coordination support across Health, Safety and Environment functions to maintain and improve our HSE framework.

You will work with HSE and operations to ensure systems and processes are effectively managed, with exposure to incident management, auditing, risk management, reporting and client support.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification in Work Health and Safety/HSE required.
• Experience as an HSE Advisor, HSE Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in drilling, mining, resources or high-risk environments.
• Working knowledge of WHS legislation and HSE management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HSE system documentation (procedures, forms, templates).
• Review and maintain Safe Work Instructions with Operations.
• Develop monthly Toolbox Topics.
• Coordinate HSE improvement initiatives and track actions to completion.
• Assist with incident investigations (ICAM where required).
• Monitor investigation close-out and overdue actions.
• Communicate incident learnings across the business.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and risks for improvement.
• Coordinate HSE audits, inspections and assurance schedules.
