Job summary

GRAYA on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to champion safety on commercial and residential sites, embedding a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation. You’ll lead risk assessments, audits, and training, supporting site teams and subcontractors to uphold Graya’s commitment to safety and excellence.

You will work with leaders across projects to build trusted safety practices and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance on site.

Qualifications

• A safety-first mindset with proven experience on commercial construction sites.
• Experience on multi-rise projects is highly regarded.
• Cert IV in WHS (or equivalent) is highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture on site, leading by example and being a visible presence every day.
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure compliance and engage safety performance.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits to maintain high safety standards across construction stages.
• Identify hazards, investigate incidents and implement preventative actions to improve site safety.
• Support development, communication and implementation of safety plans, procedures and training.
• Partner with leaders to ensure WHS legislation, policies and procedures are understood and applied across projects.
