Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is delivering a major utility-scale BESS project in Victoria. The HSE Advisor will support frontline teams, coach safe behaviours, and drive a robust safety culture across civil, electrical, HV and commissioning activities.

You will partner with project leaders and crews, ensuring consistent application of the HSE Management System and delivering safe, compliant operations on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HSE Advisor in renewable energy construction projects.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Willingness to work FIFO/DIDO on a roster basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, day-to-day HSE support across site activities.
• Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and on-site safety conversations.
• Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.
• Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with the HSE Management System.
