UGL Pty Limited is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a major renewable energy project in Queensland, operating in a FIFO/DIDO environment. You will work on-site with supervisors and crews, driving safety improvements, investigations and risk management across the project scope.
The role emphasizes practical safety leadership, collaboration with the HSE Manager, and continuous improvement across a complex construction site with a focus on incident prevention and culture-building.
Join UGL at the forefront of Australia's energy transition. Having delivered 13 solar farms and 14 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the country, we're continuing to grow our renewable energy portfolio and creating long-term career opportunities for our people. As a Senior HSE Advisor, you'll be out on site working alongside supervisors, crews and project leaders to keep safety front of mind, support the team and help solve problems before they become incidents. You'll join a major renewable energy project from the ground up, with the backing of a permanent role and future opportunities across UGL's growing pipeline of renewable energy projects.
This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and working closely with operational teams. You'll act as a trusted safety partner across the project, helping leaders manage risk, supporting frontline crews and driving positive safety outcomes. You'll also play a key role in investigations, audits, safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities across a complex construction environment. Working closely with the HSE Manager and project leadership team, you'll help ensure safety remains at the centre of everything we do.
