Job summary

Built is seeking an HSE Advisor for a landmark data centre project in Marsden Park. You will be embedded on site, coaching teams and verifying safety controls while shaping site culture and supporting successful delivery of this major project.

You will partner with project teams, subcontractors and site leadership to implement HSE standards, review SWMS, and monitor performance to drive practical safety outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all project levels.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to influence practical safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams to implement and continuously improve HSE plans and systems.

The Opportunity

As our HSE Advisor, you'll be embedded within a major live project, partnering closely with project teams, subcontractors and site leadership to bring our HSE standards to life.

You'll spend your time on site coaching teams and verifying safety controls, while also contributing to the systems, planning and governance that underpin project success. Key focuses include:

• Supporting project teams to implement and continuously improve project HSE plans and systems.
• Partnering with subcontractors, site teams and key stakeholders to support safe work practices and project outcomes.
• Coaching and influencing safe behaviours across the project.
• Reviewing SWMS, participating in toolbox talks and verifying that controls are effectively implemented on site.
• Monitoring project HSE performance, providing practical advice and supporting successful project outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a safety professional who understands that the best safety outcomes are achieved through partnership, communication and credibility. You'll be confident engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and able to adapt your approach to suit a dynamic project environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in a construction-based HSE role, ideally on large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of a project team.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to engage stakeholders to achieve practical safety outcomes.
• Experience working within highly regulated construction environments and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
• The confidence to challenge constructively when required and support teams without taking a policing approach to safety.
• A genuine commitment to creating safe workplaces and continuously improving project performance.
