Job summary

Logan City Council is seeking an HRIS Officer to develop expertise in HRIS, data management and reporting within the People & Culture context. The role offers exposure to complex workforce processes, reporting and stakeholder engagement, with a pathway to senior HRIS responsibilities.

The position focuses on HRIS administration, employee lifecycle activities, data integrity and providing guidance to stakeholders while supporting critical workforce reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience with information systems, databases or administration platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to provide HRIS information and support to employees, leaders and HR stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Processing employee lifecycle transactions including new starters, employee movements and TEVs.
• Maintaining organisational structures and employee information within the HRIS.
• Monitoring and responding to HRIS enquiries and requests.
• Producing workforce data, reports and statistics to support decision-making.
• Contributing to accuracy, integrity and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
