Job summary

PROTECH seeks HR Drivers, Skid Steer Operators and Roller Operators to join a leading asphalt crew in Mackay. Competitive rates with penalties and local plus away-from-home allowances available for both day and night shifts.

Essential requirements include an HR Licence (or higher) or alternative operator ticket, White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to work away from home. Safety and teamwork are highly valued.

HR / Skid Steer / Roller Operators

Protech is currently seeking experienced HR Drivers, Skid Steer Operators and Roller Operators to join a leading asphalt crew based in Mackay.

This is an excellent opportunity for operators looking for ongoing work within the road construction industry, offering competitive rates and the opportunity to work on both local and away projects.

Rates of Pay

• Day Shift: $40.48/hr + penalties
• Night Shift: $58.70/hr + penalties
• Local and Living Away From Home Allowances applicable

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Ability to work away from home as required
• Availability for day and night shifts
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous asphalt industry experience (desirable)

Successful Applicants Must Be Able To

• Work extended hours when required
