Job summary

Workfast is seeking multiple Asphalt workers for the Townsville area, starting immediately. This ongoing role has potential to go permanent after probation. Expect long-term, stable work with day and night shifts available and a supportive team.

You will operate a roller, assist with pavement rehabilitation and asphalt resurfacing, and perform general labouring where needed. Applicants should have experience in asphalting and hold a White Card; HR licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalting/road works.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Roller ticket preferred.
• HR Licence preferred.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work within WHS&E policies.
• Strong organisational and team working skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate roller and participate in pavement rehabilitation and asphalt resurfacing.
• Perform general labouring tasks as required.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient worksite and team environment.

This role will see you operating a roller, pavement rehabilitation, asphalt resurfacing and more. You will also be required to do general labouring where needed.

The Requirements:

• Previous experience in asphalting/road works
• Ideally live in the Townsville area
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Hold a Roller ticket
• HR Licence (ideally)
• Strong safety focus and ability to operate within WHS\&E policies
• Strong organisational and team working skills
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy
