Job summary

Opal is seeking a proactive HR Services Coordinator to join the People, Safety & Culture team in Burnley, VIC on an 11-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. You will be a key administrator and super-user of SAP SuccessFactors, driving master data accuracy, onboarding activities, and end-user support for a large workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in generalist HR administration in a high-volume Shared Services environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of HRIS platforms, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage, advise, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot HR/process issues and coach leaders for self-service HR.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee lifecycle workflows, contract generation, background/visa checks, and master data changes in the HRIS.
• Provide SuccessFactors helpdesk support, troubleshoot workflows, assist with basic reporting, and support system UAT testing.
• Coordinate leave processes across Australia and manage termination workflows.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Site Supervisors, and People Leaders to provide HRIS coaching and process support.
• Manage the Service Awards program and assist with performance/goal review processes, identifying opportunities to standardize HR procedures.
