Job summary

The Royal Australian Mint is seeking an APS 5 Human Resources Workforce Officer to support payroll services, workforce planning, establishment management and HR advisory across the Mint.

This ongoing/full-time role requires applying HR policy, data analysis and reporting, with responsibilities spanning recruitment, payroll processing using Aurion, and providing advice to managers and staff to build a capable, engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in Government HR, workforce planning and recruitment.
• Knowledge of APS legislation and policies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing in collaboration with Aurion.
• Administering the HRMIS (Aurion) and supporting users.
• Developing and implementing workforce planning activities.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: vacancy management, postings, assessment, onboarding.
• Maintain workforce establishment records and position management.
• Prepare employment documents, correspondence and reports.
• Provide HR policy guidance to managers and staff.
• Interpret and apply APS legislation, enterprise agreements and workplace policies.
• Contribute to HR process improvements.
