Job summary

TAFE Queensland is seeking a Human Resources Officer to join the Gold Coast HR team, providing broad HR administrative and support services across campuses and the employee lifecycle.

Based at the Ashmore campus with travel to other Gold Coast sites, the permanent full-time AO3 role reports to the Manager, Human Resources and emphasizes accurate information, confidential handling, and compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of HR operations and administrative practices.
• Ability to interpret employment awards and HR policies.
• Experience with HR data management and records.

Responsibilities

• Respond to staff and manager enquiries on HR administration with timely guidance.
• Manage HR mailbox and triage enquiries within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain HR records, documents, and confidential correspondence.
• Support lifecycle HR processes and project initiatives.
• Contribute to HR team meetings and continuous improvement.
