Job summary

AWCON is seeking an Onboarding Assistant to coordinate the journey of people joining AWCON — from offer to start on site. You’ll work with candidates, employees, site teams and clients to manage inductions, medicals, compliance and mobilisation logistics.

This hands-on role offers exposure to HR, recruitment and workforce mobilisation within a growing construction business and provides opportunities to develop systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Interest in HR, recruitment or workforce support.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence with different stakeholders and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment logistics and onboarding activities.
• Assist with inductions, medicals and compliance tracking.
• Support mobilisation logistics, travel and accommodation needs.
• Maintain accurate employee and mobilisation records.
• Respond to queries from candidates, employees and providers.
