Job summary

The Flagstaff Group is seeking an HR professional to support a broad range of People & Culture activities in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. You will provide HR advice, coordinate recruitment, manage records, and contribute to training and probity compliance while promoting an inclusive workplace culture.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years experience or a relevant HR qualification, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced community

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related discipline or 1–3 years of industry experience.
• Experience providing general HR advice and administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide general HR advice and administration (job design, probation, variations to conditions).
• Maintain accurate HR records, systems and reporting.
• Support engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Contribute to end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing, background checks, onboarding).
• Coordinate training bookings and probity compliance.
• Prepare monthly HR reports and metrics.
• Support workplace investigations and internal communications.
