Based at the world-renowned Greenbushes Lithium Operation, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR leader to influence organisational performance, build leadership capability, and drive meaningful people outcomes across a complex operational environment.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Manager is a critical member of the People & Culture leadership team, responsible for leading the delivery of strategic and operational HR services across the business. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders, you will help shape workforce strategy, strengthen organisational capability, and ensure people practices support both operational excellence and long-term business success.

Leading a team across HR Advisory, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, and Talent Acquisition, you will foster a collaborative and high-performing People & Culture function that delivers exceptional support to leaders and employees across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad leadership role with significant influence across workforce planning, organisational design, employee and industrial relations, leadership development, governance, and organisational change.

You’ll partner closely with senior operational leaders to provide practical, commercially focused advice on complex people matters, while also driving strategic initiatives that enhance culture, performance, and employee engagement. The role offers the opportunity to lead through growth and change while contributing to the ongoing success of a world-class operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with executive and senior leaders to deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across HR Advisory, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, policies, and people governance frameworks.
  • Oversee complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, workplace conflict, misconduct, and performance management.
  • Drive workforce planning, organisational design, and leadership capability initiatives.
  • Contribute to enterprise bargaining and stakeholder consultation processes.
  • Coach and support leaders to build confidence and capability in managing people matters.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the People & Culture function.
About You

You are a strategic and commercially minded HR leader with the ability to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and navigate complex workplace environments.

You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in senior HR leadership or HR Business Partnering roles.
  • Strong employee and industrial relations expertise.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations frameworks.
  • Experience leading complex workplace investigations and managing sensitive people matters.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • A genuine passion for developing leaders, building capability, and creating positive workplace cultures.
Why Talison?

At Talison, people are at the heart of everything we do. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative leadership team, contribute to meaningful business outcomes, and help shape the employee experience across a large and dynamic operation.

You’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact while leading a high-performing team and influencing the future direction of the organisation.
