Job summary

Kangaroo Bus Lines in Burpengary, QLD is seeking an HR Officer to join our People and Culture team on a permanent, full-time basis. This administration-heavy role focuses on high-volume recruitment and end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and day-to-day HR administration.

You will manage onboarding, offer letters, contracts, variations and probation letters, support managers with HR matters, maintain HRIS and employee records, and

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration, recruitment or a generalist HR role in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
• Strong administrative skills and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume recruitment including advertising, screening, interviews and checks.
• Manage onboarding, induction and offboarding processes and HR system navigation.
• Prepare employment documents such as offers, contracts, variations and probation letters.
• Provide first-line HR support via the HR inbox and manager assistance.
• Maintain HR records and databases, update employee details and conditions.
• Perform day-to-day HR administration, reporting and data entry with accuracy.
• Support probation reviews, performance management and employee relations.
• Assist with HR projects and process improvements.
