Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore is seeking an organised HR Coordinator to join the Perth-based People and Culture team. You will provide practical day-to-day HR support to employees, leaders and the wider HR function, handling queries, lifecycle activities and accurate record-keeping.

Reporting to the Manager Corporate HR, you will assist with employee communications, reporting and HR initiatives, coordinating actions and escalating complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in HR, Psychology, Commerce or related discipline, or currently pursuing
• Experience in HR administration and coordination is preferred
• Ability to build relationships with site and corporate teams

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for general HR enquiries and escalate sensitive matters
• Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding/offboarding and transactional tasks
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and progress actions accurately
• Support HR systems, forms, workflows and policy interpretation
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR files with confidentiality
• Prepare documentation and presentations for HR-related meetings and communications
• Support HR reporting and data checks across HR systems
