Job summary

Sharp & Carter is partnering with a professional services business to recruit an HR Consultant. This role is ideal for an HR Advisor or HR Generalist seeking a consultative environment and career growth.

You will support a diverse HR portfolio in clinical and healthcare settings, gaining exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and HR advisory activities while working with senior team members in a purpose-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a HR role within professional services, healthcare, consulting, or regulated environments.
• Strong HR generalist background with exposure to recruitment, employee relations and advisory activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Keen to develop a consulting mindset and client-facing confidence.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment including job advertising, onboarding, and candidate coordination.
• Provide first-line HR advice across employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters with guidance from senior staff.
• Assist with review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Support organisational reviews, HR projects, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Assist with employee lifecycle processes including restructures, redeployment, and offboarding.
• Help develop and deliver HR resources, training materials, and people-focused initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support privacy, employment, and WHS obligations.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a HR Advisor or HR Generalist looking to take the next step in their career and build capability in a consultative HR environment.

Working across a diverse portfolio of teams supporting professionals in clinical and healthcare-related settings, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities while developing your skills as a trusted HR consultant. Key Responsibilities

About You

• Proven experience in a HR role, ideally within professional services, healthcare, consulting, or another regulated environment
• Strong foundational HR generalist experience with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and HR advisory activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Keen to develop a consulting mindset and build confidence in client-facing environments
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
